Leora sept. 7

Chasm and canyon
Carved into the land
Epic face of time
A space of creation
And slow change
Formation of rock
Rivers cutting through Indentations
Swelling of earth
Gentle, rolling slopes
Gaping, edged depression
Opening new worlds

Imagery poems pull the reader into the experience through lots of description. Because it is a picture of words, the images are as beautiful and interesting as we allow ourselves to see. I think this poem belongs in the imagery category because it is extremely descriptive. It is like seeing through words,it makes its own color shape and size in your head, giving every body a different experience.
